How TAG works.

Everything that happens between your tweet and your coin, in plain words.

The command

Post a tweet that tags the bot, from your own X account. Every coin launches on pons, on Robinhood Chain, paired with ETH.

@tagdotfun launch "Dog Wif Hat" $DWH buy $50 tax 2% + a picture attached

  • Name: up to 32 characters. Wrap it in quotes if it has spaces.
  • Ticker: up to 10 letters or numbers, starting with $.
  • buy $X (optional): how much of your own coin to buy at launch, up to $1,000.
  • tax N% (optional): your creator fee on every trade, from 0% to 10%. Default 1%.
  • Image (optional): attach a picture to the tweet and it becomes your coin's image. No picture? TAG generates coin art from your name and ticker.

Paying with X Money

The bot replies with your total (your first buy plus a $2 launch fee) and a one-time code. Send that exact amount to @tagdotfun from your X Money balance within 15 minutes.

If a launch fails after you pay, or you pay after the quote expires, the full amount is refunded to your X Money.

Your vault

Every X account gets one wallet on Robinhood Chain, created the first time you launch. It's tied to your X account's permanent ID, so it stays yours if you change your @.

Only logging in with your X account opens it. TAG can't move your coins or your fees. You can sell, claim fees, or withdraw to your own wallet at any time.

Creator fees

Every trade on a coin you launched pays a creator fee in ETH. A small contract deployed with your coin splits it: 80% to your vault, 20% to TAG. The split is fixed in the contract, so nobody can change your share. Press Claim in your vault to collect it.

Risks

Memecoins are extremely volatile and most go to zero. Nothing on TAG is investment advice. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
